Episode 03 is about Lubadh's new giant firmware update and covers a bit of the internals of the preset system. This is going to be a journey and I'll post an episode 04 when I know more - or think I do. If you're happy with your V1 I may even suggest to keep it at V1. If you like Rabbit Holes, go in and you'll be generously rewarded. And you'll swear from time to time, but that doesn't help. Power comes with the price of learning how to handle it. It took a while to finish this video. I've spent a lot of time patching and learning. When it was time to shoot video, my SD card started to degrade and weird things started to happen. I ended in a bricked module. It was an official update pack SD. I reflashed it with Balena Etcher, but it did not help.
Running the old V1 firmware worked fine, so I knew it wasn't my module. Finally - after a few days - I flashed V2 on a new SD with the latest Balena Etcher (V1.14) and it worked. I made a video while going through the process of trail and error, but decided to take it off-line. So only a few of you have seen it. But it's unlikely it ever happens to you and it's not in Instruo's best interest to post 10 minutes of trouble shooting. It took a bit of time to focus again on the good stuff. Lubadh IS the good stuff.
