A few months ago, I was tasked with the hiring of a clinical research assistant to join our team working on a pharma-sponsored trial at a hospital site. I worked with a research associate to develop the job posting, screen the resumes and conduct the 1st interview independently before recommending my top 3 candidates to the principal investigator for a second interview.
In this video, I have shared the process of resume screening we use with tips of what to do and what not to do when applying. I have also shared all the questions I asked during this preliminary interview and explained what key elements I was looking for in the answers I received.
