RACING FOR 24 HOURS ON SINGLE SPEEDS (24 Hours in the Old Pueblo)

24 hour racing is without a doubt, one of the purest and most grassroots way to enjoy mountain bike racing. You hang you with your friends, you eat weird food, you stay up all night and watch the sunrise, and in between all that, you hammer the pedals pretty hard. And so, if we’re going to race a 24 hour race, we decided to do so in the purest, most grassroots category – which is to say, a 4-man single speed team. And I do mean, man – since this isn’t an officially co-ed category, most of the teams are all men. As a 50% female team, we will have our work cut out for us to compete.
