Primitive Seafood Cookout and Harvest Basket - new beginnings part 2
I need food, so I head to the coast. Many times the coast will provide the most easily accessible high protein and nutrient-rich foods. These foods are easy to cook but can often be eaten raw too. It will also be helpful if I make a basket for gathering. Along the way I find a bluff with powdery yellowish dirt that might be clay. For cooking my catch I'm going to need to make a fire. Using sticks and stones I manage to make a hand drill fire kit that works on the first try, and by the way, dinner was primitive but excellent! This is the second installment of a new series exploring this topic of "New Beginnings".
