Please Don’t Confuse Your Google Search with My Medical Degree | Richard Baron | TEDxChicago
The idea that individuals now can access information and become a “specialist” overnight is good and bad. Dr. Richard Baron’s talk encourages us to build trust between doctors and patients in order to make the best healthcare decisions. For almost 30 years, Dr. Baron treated patients in his Philadelphia community, leaving clinical practice to work in Washington where he improved care models for primary practice across the country. He currently leads the American Board of Internal Medicine.
This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
