Photographing MOUNTAIN HARES in the ARCTIC ⎸ Varanger Expedition ep 3
In this wildlife photography series, I take you along – behind the scenes – on a week-long photography expedition in pursuit of the hardy creatures that endure the cold temperatures and inhospitable conditions that the Arctic throws at them. In this episode, I test out two widely different techniques of photographing the secretive white mountain hares. Under the cover of darkness, I spend a night in a photography hide, and as daylight reappears, I head out on foot to search for them on the tundra.
