Today we’re talking all about how we can be better creative directors for our clients so we capture more images they absolutely love and can’t wait to share.  Today in this Workshop we will cover: - Posing for personal brands  - Posing do's and don'ts - What to say to direct your clients -how to unlock authentic energy  - Becoming the creative director So the reason I really wanted to do this Posing workshop is because: 1.  You guys were asking for this!  When I’ve surveyed you, so many of you say you still don’t feel confident directing your clients on camera. 2. Unhappy Clients I KNEW from hundreds of clients... Huge problem in our industry.  Number one thing they say… “The photographer didn’t engage me or tell me what to do.” “The photos don’t represent who I am or my brand vibe.” “I think I look awkward and stiff in the photos.” “I need more direction.” So yes, I have stolen many clients unintentionally who came to me for help. Maybe some of yours. Sorry not sorry. If you've been on camera yourself, and hopefully you have, then you know what a difference the Photog makes. Their energy. Their directing. The way they capture you.  Who is your alter creative director ego? PART 3: do’s and don’t So now let’s get into some actual posing do’s and don’ts. You may have seen some of this before or maybe not.  Today I want to focus on the 5 areas I see photographers really missing or dropping the ball on the most when it comes to the actual posing and directing of your client on camera.  The goal is to get a few takeaways you can start trying with your clients, PLUS you are going to get my free guide with some of my favorite poses I love using with my brand clients that you can start trying right away. And we will be going over how I direct them into those poses.  When we talk about Posing of course there’s the body and mini parts of the body to pose on our clients because it matters. We need to pose the feet and hips and spine is very important the arms, the hands, the shoulders, the head, and the eyeballs we need to pose at all! BUT something I have felt is missing from the posing courses and curriculum that I’ve seen is posing the eyes, expression, and energy. And when I go back to my first photos as a young brand photographer several years ago and I looked through my portfolio, all I see are horrible horrible poses. I mean sure I had a few good ones but a lot of them were not post perfectly, yet my clients loved their photos. I would get feedback talking about how much these are their favorite photos they’ve ever had and they attracted so many new clients to them and got more engagement social media and they definitely want to do another photo shoot. This is very interesting because I didn’t know how to really pose people. And that’s actually really magical about personal branding is that it’s not about perfect Posing. Sure posing matters and we’re gonna get into that, but what matters more than posing is the energy of your client. And how you engage your client. When we talk about Instagrammable photos it’s so much more than a perfect pose...
