In this video we are going to walk through using Loft to make a parametric based Hirth Joint in Fusion 360.
This question came up from the lofted cut video if the technique could be used to make a true Hirth Joint. So in this video we are going to walk through setting up the parameters and how that relates to Lofting to a Point. In the end we will have a parameter based hirth joint in Fusion 360.
If you don't want to type in all the parameters you can start with this design.

Here is a final version with a little more work at the end of the video.

The final dataset is fairly robust and you can modify the number of teeth, ID, OD and angle to configure your own. The hub is manually sketched but you could spend a little time and configure that as well.
