Owner Came Home And Found Her House Trashed and Yard Neglected #asmr #readdescription
For those who aren't aware why I wasn't doing or uploading any videos. 7 months ago, I was injured and needed surgery. I accidentally dropped the trailer draw bar on my right foot when the jockey wheel collapse. i had what they cal. Lisfrank Fracture, and they had to put a plate on in as my bones were completely crushed. 6 months from the first surgery, they also had to remove the plate and will need another 3 to 4 weeks of rest before I could work again. I'm good now, but I was advised not to overdo it.
I wasn't allowed to work during those months when I saw the post below on Facebook. I wanted to help but unable to.
Facebook Post:
This is an overgrown yard, and some dipsticks broke in and left rubbish out the front. So, we would need to clear the rubbish and then cut the brush/weeds/grass in the yard as well as around the outside of the fence.
I’ve already started cutting down the thicker woody weeds to 20cm stubs. Some of them are 4cm thick, so I will need more than a lawnmower. Bring your own equipment.
The dipsticks also nicked my green bin, so I also gotta take the clippings away! Location near Caboolture train station.
I enjoy gardening work, but if you’d like to do it, instead shoot me a message.
EDIT: To explain the situation, I was trying to help a couple on disability, they were about to be homeless and no real estate agent would rent to them on welfare, and I said that they could stay in my 3-bedroom house for as long as they liked. I decided to ask for just $250 a week. Well below market-rate, something they could afford. I encouraged them to paint the walls, have pets, hang pictures, and make the place feel like a home.
I’ve been overseas the last 4 years and as soon as they found out, they stopped paying rent, squatted for two years, gutted the kitchen, ‘built’ an unsafe patio, and left the place covered in trash with ripped off doors, holes in the walls, and stole the hot water system.
Because I’ve been stuck overseas I’ve been powerless to fix it. I ordered a new kitchen and hot water system to try and make the house available for another person in need, but other squatters quickly stole those and gutted the house of any and all valuables. Every wall is ruined, every window is broken, and the place is littered with trash, bongs, syringes, and feces.
I came back to Australia to find my home in ruins. It’s devastating.
I’ve been back in Australia a few weeks now and am starting to pick up the pieces of what my kindness resulted in.
I’m no stranger to this. My house was trashed previously by a 19 year old Caboolture couple with a newborn who was about to be homeless. Their parents booted them, and real estate agents wouldn’t even look at their application. Same deal, they would have a safe place to stay, $250 a week as long as they needed.
They also took advantage of that kindness, didn’t pay and damaged the property and filled it with trash and feces on their way out, and the yard was like it is now. So I’ve already done the dirty work and actually prefer yard work and dump runs to all the cleaning, tiling, painting, and flooring I had to do.
Now that I’m back in the country I’m starting the process all over again of tackling these projects. I can do it on my own, I don’t actually need someone else to do it. I don’t even care too much about the lawn. the council has asked me to cut it as it’s becoming a hazard.
I’ve spent the last decade trying to help others get a leg up in caboolture. I remember being homeless and earning less than $200 a week, I wish I was given a chance and housing when I was 19.
So if I’m able to offer some money and that helps someone here in this community that I love and grew up in, shouldn’t they be given the choice?
Thank you!
Sadly, the reward most of the time for the kindness you offer is the opposite, just this lady experience.
Check the clips of the inside of the house, and you'll see how they've ruined the place. I know there's more to be done, but at least they've got their yard back.
What would you have done if you're in her situation? Please let me know if the comment section
thanks everyone ☺️
