Operation of a Multi-Operating-Stage of Freeze-Drying
This video presents the process of a multi-stage operation of freeze-drying. It is important to know why we are operating freeze-drying at multistage operation. The main reason is to reduce the freeze-drying operating time, which ultimately can reduce operating cost for vacuum pump, refrigeration unit and heater, and could extend the life of the refrigeration unit, vacuum pump and electric heater. In addition, we could achieve improved quality characteristics of the freeze-dried foods in relation to color, health functional components, structure and porosity.
