Old Very Rusty Forged Axe Restoration

Very rusty forged axe restoration. I found this rusty old ax in the woods with a metal detector. This ax is forged. The ax was made by a master blacksmith, and the blacksmith's stamp has been preserved on it. I think this ax is from the late 18th - 19th centuries. I removed the rust, sharpened the blade and made a new handle. I did not sanding the pits on the ax and its texture is similar to a meteorite. Now you can work with this ax.
