Old Fashion Candy Making| Pineapple Fudge
It's Christmas Time and that means it's time to make homemade candy. Welcome to my kitchen where I show you how to make old fashion pineapple fudge, one of Old Guy's favorites.
Here's the recipe:
1 cup drained crushed pineapple
3 cups sugar
1 cup evaporated milk
2 Tbs butter
2 tsp lemon juice
Combine pineapple, milk and sugar. Stir while cooking, bringing to a boil. Let boil until reaching 236 degrees (soft ball stage). Remove from heat, add butter and lemon juice without stirring in. Allow to cool to 120 degrees. Stir by hand or using a mixer until mixture is no long glossy, but dull. Pour into heavily buttered 8 in. square pan. Cool and cut. Store in airtight container.
