Previously I explored US 166, which is a spur of the Mother Road, classic Route 66. The other spur is located in Oklahoma, but it's not as simple to figure out. The current US 266 is only 40 miles and doesn't connect to Route 66 at all. That's because the current US 62 from Oklahoma City to Henryetta was US 266 from 1926-1930 before changing to US 62. Confused yet? I try my best to explain all this in the video, and then head down the 90+ miles to visit a bunch of really interesting towns. This turned out to be one of my favorite trips!
