In this video, I, a contemporary voice specialist, react to Luciano Pavarotti operatically singing his socks off. This performance of “Nessun Dorma” was one of the most incredible things I have ever heard. Watch Pavarotti leave me awestruck as I analyse his soul shattering vocal performance, explain and demonstrate his vocal techniques (from an anatomical perspective) and ultimately tell you what I think made him so unbelievably great. I can clearly see why Luciano Pavarotti is a household name. I have never encountered such resonance from a human and I am eager to discover how other opera singers compare!
