Down at the swimming home metal detecting there are all kinds of things to be found and dug up. This is old New England farmland right on the side of a pond and people have been coming here for years. there is a cellar hole and long ago deserted fields now overgrown with forest.These old abandoned places have relics in the ground from the 1700s 180s and with today s finds a lot of 1900s, especially the coins.
