Healthy Prune and Peanut Chocolate Candies
These homemade candies are the perfect balance of taste and health! Natural ingredients, rich chocolate flavor, and nutty crunchy texture make this dessert a great alternative to store-bought sweets.
Ingredients:
240 g (1 + ½ cups) prunes
220 g (1 + ½ cups) peanuts
200 g (1 + ¼ cups) sugar-free dark chocolate
1.5 tbsp olive or coconut oil
40 g peanuts (for decoration)
Preparation:
Pour cold water over the prunes for 15 minutes to remove preservatives and activate the beneficial substances.
Fry the peanuts in a dry frying pan to give them a rich flavor.
Set aside 40 g peanuts for decoration.
Chop the remaining peanuts and prunes in a blender until smooth.
Form small cylinders or balls from the mixture.
Place the blanks in the freezer for 20 minutes.
Melt the dark chocolate in a water bath, add olive or coconut oil and mix thoroughly.
Dip each candy in the melted chocolate, coating it evenly.
Place on parchment and refrigerate for 5 minutes.
Chop the set aside nuts with a knife.
Decorate the candies with chocolate lines using a spoon or pastry bag.
Sprinkle chopped peanuts on top.
Return to the refrigerator until completely hardened.
