We drove by this yard a few times and noticed it kept getting longer and longer. I decided to stop and knock on the door but no one answered. Turns out after conversation with one neighbor, she just came up missing one day, they didn’t talk to her but noticed the yard was getting out of control. I asked him if she was still in there and no one knew she was in there and the neighbor said he looked in the windows and didn’t see anyone. While I was mowing, I noticed a man that kept driving back and forth on his bike and he ended up coming up and asking where his neighbor lady was, he hadn’t seen her in a while but heard some noise over here and wanted to make sure no one was breaking in. I explained that I mow yards for free and just cleaning up the community and he said “Oh you are that guy, I’ve heard about you!”. All the neighbors were great people but it remains a mystery where this lady disappeared too. Do you check on your neighbors frequently? If not, I’d encourage everyone to check on neighbors, friends and family! The Neighborhood loved how the yard turned out. I’m going to contact the city to see if they have located this lady or can do a wellness check. It’s reasons like this we love helping others!
