No Mosques?! Exploring Europe’s Least Muslim Country 🇵🇱 Poland Travel Vlog
Join me on an unforgettable day in this Kraków, Poland travel vlog 🇵🇱, as I navigate the highs and lows of travel as a Muslim in one of Europe’s least Muslim-populated countries. This travel vlog is packed with humor, adventure, and unique insights into traveling as a Muslim in Poland, making it perfect for anyone interested in Kraków travel or Islamic perspectives on European destinations.
I started my day in an Airbnb that can only be described as the “Airbnb from hell”—no WiFi, loud neighbors, and even someone’s underwear hanging on the light in a shared bathroom. Disgusted but determined to make the most of the day, I decided to meet my friend at his nearby Airbnb, which was just a short 5-10 minute walk away. The weather was surprisingly pleasant, a welcome break from the windy and cold days we’d been experiencing in Kraków, Poland.
After meeting up, we headed to an Egyptian halal restaurant for some shawarma. The freshly made bread and halal food were absolutely delicious, and it was such a relief to find great halal options in Kraków, Poland, a city with one of the lowest Muslim populations in Europe.
Next, we rented electric scooters and zipped through the streets of Kraków, laughing the whole way to Wawel Castle. It’s amazing to think about how this historic site was once reserved for royalty, yet now anyone can walk through its stunning courtyard for free. We explored the church on the grounds, which was breathtaking, and discovered the coffin of Polish kings inside. I even went searching for the Dragon’s Lair, only to find it closed for the day—a bit disappointing, but still an incredible experience to visit such a legendary place.
The day’s adventure continued as we rode our scooters to a go-karting track. It was my first time trying go-karting, and I was determined to beat my friend. We arrived a bit early, so we passed the time shopping, where I picked up a chest mount for my camera, ready to capture every moment of the race. When it was finally time to race, I started off slow but quickly got the hang of it, zooming around the track and coming in 3rd place overall! While the experience was thrilling, my body ached afterward—go-karting is no joke!
As the day wound down, I headed back to the center of Kraków to buy gifts for my family and wife. It was the perfect way to end a day full of adventure, laughter, and memorable moments.
This vlog also touches on important topics for Muslim travelers, like the surprising fact that Poland has one of the lowest Muslim populations in Europe and no mosques in Kraków. Despite this, my experience has been filled with kindness and unique opportunities to learn about the culture and history of this beautiful city.
