This is the journey of my no-filter aquarium—a self-sustaining ecosystem teeming with life. From an empty tank to a thriving world of fish, invertebrates, and plants, this setup relies on natural balance rather than technology. In this video, I document every addition, from snails and shrimp to celestial pearl danios and a crown tail betta. Watch as assassin snails control the growing snail population, giant fan shrimp filter-feed in the water column, and Badis badis hunt for live prey. The tank becomes a battlefield of predators and prey, with microfauna like daphnia, ostracods, and copepods playing a crucial role in the ecosystem.
