I used my Nikon Z50 and the Z DX 50-250 VR kit lens to photograph birds from my back porch blind. In this video, I attempt to prove that sometimes preparation in attracting birds and hiding yourself from them is more valuable for bird photography than expensive gear. The 50-250 is my least expensive telephoto lens but it is sharp enough to make some nice bird photos if you can get close enough to them. In my blind I am about 10 feet from my perches where the birds land. This lens is also available with the Z50 II.
