Night Lights A
As a central figure in West Coast Jazz, Gerry Mulligan was active in deepening exchanges with trumpeter Chet Baker and others.
Returning to New York, Mulligan co-starred with Thelonious Monk in 1957.「Mulligan Meets Monk」
In 1963, he released 「Night Lights」, which has a quiet style different from the progressive work that impressed with the baritone sax of the 1950s, and became his masterpiece.
