✨ *NEW* EXTREME TOY DECLUTTER + ORGANIZE WITH A MOM OF 3! | DECLUTTERING TIPS || TRYING IKEA TROFAST

Toys over here, toys over there, toys, toys, EVERYWHERE! 🤪 Sound familiar?! I have been trying to tackle this for the longest time! Today is part 1 of my 5 year old daughters room makeover! Paint samples are ordered, amazon boxes full of decor have arrived along with a new bed, mattress, and bedding...I just have one small (ok, HUGE) obstacle in my way... TOYS! Today is finally the day though. Every toy in the house will be collected, sorted into piles, decluttered, organized, and STORED! Which brings me to a funny story... I totally forgot to plan storage! 😂 Nothing a quick trip to IKEA couldn't fix though! We went with two of Trofast organizers and so far so good! I just need to get some labels on them! 😉 Here's a look at my Notes app! This way you can see what goes through my brain during these projects: CSDO Collect = ALL THE THINGS! Every room. You can break this down, but typically you’ll have better results seeing everything at once Sort = Make piles. Barbies, play food, blocks, babies, doll clothes, etc. (Toss any no-brainers out!) Declutter = Be AGGRESSIVE! If you’re not an aggressive person, remember, decluttering is a constant cycle. Come back to it later Organize = Now that you can see what you have, the fun part begins! Pick how you want to sort. More or less divided organization. Depends on AGE and personality. We’re trying to make things easier here! PILES I MADE -barbies -barbie clothes -baby dolls -baby dolls clothes -baby doll accessories (Paci’s, bottles, diapers, bibs) -dress up (shoes, jewelry tiaras, skirts -play food -pretend play ( dr, dentist, cell phone, etc) -Random toys that didn’t fit above category -large toys that don’t fit in a trofast bin -puzzles -play money -TINY BARBIE ACCESSORIES In next weeks adorable room makeover video we’ll: -Paint -Wainscoting trim/trim window -Window treatment -Stack toy storage/attach to wall -New bed/mattress/bedding -hang TV -Start/finish dresser and nightstand -Label toy bins -Decor: new lamp, shelves, candles etc -Book shelves I hope you enjoyed today's video!
