NEW DESIGN: HOW TO MAKE TAIWAN PEACOCK SWIRL - Cold Process Soap
How do you make the classic Taiwan swirl even better?....Try adding a Peacock Swirl to it. The colors and scent of this soap was inspired by the spring flower, the daffodil. For this design, you'll need a well behaved fragrance oil that traces slowly as you'll need the time to fill the mold and complete to design patterns. I tried using Brambleberry's Crisp Cotton fragrance oil and even though they claim it to be "well behaved" I found that it slightly accelerated. You''ll see in the video how the white batter sets up slightly faster than the others. From the time of blending to emulsion to hand stirring to light trace was about 5-10 minutes, a little faster than I had expected and wanted. I was still happy with the results though!
