In part 3 of my crystal-clear negative harmony tutorial, I'll show you how negative harmony affects modes of the major scale. Som evry interesting things happen when we apply negative harmony on modes. The transformation of a mode has a relation with the brightness and darkness of a mode. We'll use the Dorian Brightness Quotient and the circle of fifths to do a remarkable discovery… We will take the song "Freewill" by the Band Rush in the Lydian mode and convert the song into the negative harmony counterpart to make an awesome variation on this song.
