Navigation in Rhino: Key to Building Modeling Speed

Navigation is one of the fundamental skills that you should work on developing as a beginning or even an experienced 3d modeler. It goes way beyond just the normal pan, orbit, and zoom operations that you're probably already comfortable with. While these tools are fundamental, they're just the surface of the larger topic of navigating in Rhino. I find that being able to effectively move around and through large models, especially in architecture when we often need to be inside of the models we create, is one of the keys to building speed in 3d software. In addition, learning to make efficient use of your screen space by maximizing the view of the particular objects you're concerned with makes doing almost everything else so much cleaner and simpler.
