NaNoWriMo is SHUTTING DOWN, and it's probably for the best...

The NaNoWriMo organization has officially announced they are shutting down and in this video, I discuss why that is, and the email NaNoWriMo sent out to former participants. It's been a shame to see NaNoWriMo fall off from being an event that inspires authors to write their books and become a term associated with so many controversies. From grooming allegations to supporting AI writing, NaNoWriMo became infamous in the past year and a half. I'm glad that hopefully this will be the last video I make covering NaNoWriMo... If I host a writing challenge in the future, what would you like to see from an event like that?
