My Full Drawing Process! ✦ Reverse: 1999 Character Illustration [Clip Studio Paint Speedpaint]

Hey! In this video I show you how 40h of drawing work looks like. I watched other peoples time-lapse videos and they are soo fast, like 10h or so TvT Am I too slow? But maybe this is alright since it's an illustration where I did things differently and experimented a lot. This helps me to improve and adjust the learnings to my upcoming work. ✨Here's what I've learnt: Surprisingly the part which took the longest was the sketching and planning phase. Once I figured out how I want things to be I was able to get into detail. I made several refined sketches to have an easier time with the lineart. This was the first time I used blending modes in order to figure out my shadow and light colours. For complex illustrations like this it’s pretty handy to do it like that.
