My First Time With An Electro Capacitive Keyboard!

Hi! Disclaimer: MMStudio sent out the Class80 for me to take a look at and is letting me keep the proto and sponsored the stream. While this is very kind of them, it does not affect my review at all or my thoughts of the board. Due to the nature of live streams, they also had no say in what goes on during the process, nor did they influence my thoughts. MY THOUGHTS: Round 2 of the class80 anyone? MM Studio is bring this gem of a board back for a round too, with a few changes. The internal weight has a fancy new finish and now the board has EC compatibility! The new weight looks so awesome and (as per the norm lately) it's hidden away in the internals and will never see the light of day unless you do a rebuild. It's a shame they couldn't use this really fun finish of the weight somewhere on the outside! Not the end of the world but Id love to see it more thoughtfully used. Aside from that, the class80 is pretty much the same and I must admit, after building the Class60 I wanted all the "Class" series boards to have the same leaf spring mounting system. I thought maybe this new version of the 80 would have that same mounting system, but it doesnt. Fear not, it still works very well! Its comfy and offers both a gasket mount and top mount. I ended up building the EC version of the PCB and WOW I loved it. It was my first time using EC. To note though, I do think this board is pricey. It starts at 350 and I'm not sure who this is for.
