My First Time Ever Turning Hackberry and It Did Not Disappoint!

I recently got a load of logs delivered to the shop and surprisingly, there were a few smaller logs of Hackberry! This piece here came from the crotch section of one of the logs and I had initially cut it to turn a natural edge bowl but after looking over it, I realized the split portion went a little deeper into the wood that I had first thought. So I had let the wood sit for a few days thinking I would just cut it up for small project blanks but then I go to thinking that it has been a while since I had turned a hollow form and instantly I just knew that this piece here was I had to make from it!
