Casting a murder hornet in epoxy resin. Murder Hornets, aka Asian Giant Hornets are the largest of all hornets at 2 inches in length. Today I’m encasing this murder hornet in epoxy resin using casting techniques I haven’t tried previously. I used a pressure pot for resin casting for the first time, and tried using heat forming plastics in the cast.
