Hello flight simmers and welcome back to Alpha Hotel Flight Simulator Training. This is video 2 in our series on flying RNAV (GPS) approaches. In this video, we’ll talk about and demonstrate how to load and fly an LPV RNAV (GPS) approach using the Garmin G1000 equipped Cessna 172.
In video one of this series, we covered the basics of RNAV (GPS) approaches, and in the videos that follow, we'll be taking a look at how to fly the various different types of RNAV (GPS) approaches using various different types of GPS receivers, such as the G1000 and GNS 530/430.
