Monster Hunter World: 7 Tips I Wish I Knew Before I Started (Beginner Tips)

Going into Monster Hunter World, I knew nothing. Now that I've played a whole bunch, these are some things that I wish I knew before I started playing (or rather, would have liked to have known had I not been playing with friends). I tried to include some stuff that wasn't like every other beginner's guide out there, but there's definitely some very basic stuff here too. 1) Always be upgrading your low level gear. 2) Gear always has weaknesses. 3) Start with a simple weapon. 4) Always have bounties. 5) Capturing is better than killing. (Unless you're looking for gems.) 6) Maintain a disciplined item stash. 7) Bring dung pods.
