🚀 Monitoring Kafka Streaming Like a Pro Prometheus & Grafana | (Strimzi) Kafka
In our previous video, we built a real-time data streaming system using Strimzi Kafka on Kubernetes, Kafka Connect, and PostgreSQL. We demonstrated how any change in the source PostgreSQL database was streamed to Kafka topics in real-time using the Kafka Connect cluster.
👉 In this video, we take it a step further and set up production-grade monitoring for the system using Prometheus and Grafana. Monitoring is crucial for understanding system behavior, ensuring reliability, and detecting flaws before they impact production.
You’ll learn:
✅ How to monitor Kafka (Strimzi) on Kubernetes
✅ How to set up Prometheus for metrics scraping
✅ How to visualize real-time metrics in Grafana
✅ How to track Kafka connectors and PostgreSQL data flow
