This time we used a combustion engine with a power of 7 HP (actually it is probably 4 HP), a 1:100 planetary gear and a cutting mechanism of our own making. Unfortunately, as you saw, the gear seized up and stopped. I'm not sure what the reason was, but I suspect two possibilities. The gears were already a bit worn and I didn't know about it because I didn't look inside before starting the project or 3600 engine rpm was too much for this gear. From what I remember, it worked with a 1400 rpm engine and maybe that's the problem. Life goes on and you have to move on to another project.
