These songs were born from a desire to return to the dancefloor, to that sense of connection that losing yourself for a few moments can bring.
At the end of our tour last year, we played a DJ set at the dolab in Coachella. Afterward, we wandered the festival grounds, exhausted and happy, just taking it all in. Eventually, we found ourselves in the Yuma tent (as one does) while folamour was playing. And something shifted. It was the first time in a long while that we felt completely free—no pressure, barely any phones in sight. Just bodies moving, people smiling, and great music. It reminded us how good it feels to simply dance.
That feeling stayed with us. We went back into the studio the next week, still riding that high, and let it guide us. We started pulling inspiration from everywhere—DJ Rolando, Axwell, James Holden, old ’80s movie soundtracks—anything that carried that feeling. What came out surprised us, made us smile and most importantly made us jump around the studio. It’s fitting that these songs are out in the world exactly one year later. It’s been such a joy to play them out in our sets this past year. They’re our love letter to the dancefloor and to letting go. Hope you all enjoy ❤️
