That I would close my eyes above Earth and open them beside the stars. But they didn’t explain what it would feel like to wake into silence— real silence, the kind that isn’t just absence of sound, but absence of meaning. I don’t know if this will be read. I don’t know if Earth still exists. But I’m writing this in case someone, somewhen, finds me. Entry #4 I’ve opened the viewing chamber. There are no constellations I recognize. No familiar alignments. No North. No home. Outside, there’s… something. A structure, maybe. Or a phenomenon. It reflects no light, yet it pulses. I don’t understand it. But it’s not random. It feels like… presence. I spoke to it. It didn’t reply. But the moment I stopped speaking, I felt it listening. Entry #9 I’m beginning to question what I am. The systems are intact. My body is preserved. The AI still responds. But something inside me is… changed. I dream while awake. I hear voices not from outside, but from the parts of me I forgot existed.
