Million Dollar Highway Colorado Rocky Mountain Scenic Drive 4K San Juan Skyway Durango to Ouray

Colorado Rocky Mountain scenic drive on U.S. Route 550 (Million Dollar Highway & San Juan Skyway) north from Durango to Silverton, Ouray & Montrose. We begin 25 miles north of downtown Durango and head north on the San Juan Skyway through multiple mountain passes where we climb to over 10,000 feet in elevation before reaching Silverton. The Million Dollar Highway begins in Silverton and we climb another 11,000+ foot mountain pass as we continue up to Ouray. Along the way we enjoy stunning alpine mountain views, frozen waterfalls, deep river canyons and endless beautiful blue skies before ending in the city of Montrose.
