Artyom has met some deadly people and creatures on his journey throughout the Metro stations. Battling factions desperate for power as well as extremely vicious beats that want to eat anything they see. However, there is one he never expected to encounter. Humans that were so desperate for resources, cut off from the rest of the world, that they had to start eating their own. One faction, located away from the Metros, luring people into their traps to eat them, and the other creating a cult, worshiping their God and sacrificing anyone who was a disbeliever and capturing children for their ranks.
