In this video I will be showing you how to gather some of this information like:
* dielectric coefficient of the substrate
* thickness of the substrate
* thickness of the copper
It is not a hard process. It isn't even highly technical. The average experimenter can do this with an inexpensive VNA like the nanoVNA or miniVNA tiny.
