Hollywood has had its fair share of historically troubled productions. Whether it was casting changes, actor deaths, fired directors, in-production rewrites, constant delays, budget cuts, or studio edits, these films had every intention to be a blockbuster but were beset with unforeseen disasters. Sometimes huge hits, sometimes box office bombs. In this episode, we take a look at 1987's adaptation of the popular toy line, Masters of the Universe. Starring Dolph Lundgren as He-Man and Frank Langella as his arch nemesis, Skeletor, the movie is ripe with cheesy 80s sci-fi and unintentional comedy, shoddy costumes and all manner of odd choices and strange decisions that led to an outrageously strange film that's remembered for all the wrong reasons.
