Marvelous Designer to ZBrush Long Talk
In this video I take a look at some ways on how to process Marvelous Designer garment and make it work in ZBrush and start to make a game ready mesh for baking.
This is unscripted talk kind of a video and pretty long but I hope there are some useful tips here.
To summarize, getting thin mesh from Marvelous Designer with UVs gives a good starting point to ZBrush sculpting because this allows us to get polygroups from UVs. That is already the majority of the work done.
From polygroups we can derive UVs even if we use ZRemesher.
Making garments is one of the more challenging CG work but I hope this video will give at least a glimpse on methods to deal with more complex meshes.
