Making my second Field Gate using Roundwood Joinery and full size Trees
Back again with another field gate I made. The proces is completely the same as the last one I made although optimised from what I learned from making the first one. Check out the full making series on the last one in my playlists. Like last time the gate is made entirely from black locust wood.
In contrast to last time, the gate didn't require a large stone to balance it out. This was pure luck. Although the gate is functional, it is a little heavier than ideal. But from last time I know this will only get better as the wood dries out. It will balance in favour the function of the gate. But it will be necessary to adjust the balance one the wood has dried completely.
