According to Unity, a grid with dimensions of (1, 0.5, 1) which is the default will have it's Z axis sort as -0.26. More information can be found here: https://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/Tilemap-Isometric-CreateIso.html Be sure to put your tilemap back to Chunk Mode and put the tiles in a sprite atlas to help performance in your build.
