Making a Webtoon from Start to Finish: Writing for Canvas and Originals
Get some tips on how to write a comic from a comic book writer that has been making comics for a decade. If you've been wondering how to make a Webtoon and the writing process...let's get into it! Please read my webtoon Ghost Bats http://ghostbats.co/wt Also you can support this channel via Patreon and Ko-Fi http://patreon.com/walterostlie https://ko-fi.com/walterostlie Watch the entire process playlist here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dIw-sUar9Lk&list=PL_aLJHqAks7JL3Syu4ijSwgzMoUwV65K4&index=2 Why not subscribe and get some more sweet sweet goodness? https://www.youtube.com/user/walterostlie?sub_confirmation=1 Just found out the plugin I use was discontinued or was disposed of by some nefarious means, so I found another one called "Markdown Tools". I haven't used it, but it looks similar. Just open google docs, go to add-ons in the menu, click get add-ons, and search for markdown tools. https://gsuite.google.com/marketplace/app/markdown_tools/788541604518 Get the script here - https://docs.google.com/document/d/149JCmGYyXWLKelr53ujNHB2Qgn4c4y3HKkVLUe7tkyc/edit?usp=sharing Check out my t-shirts here http://walterostlie.threadless.com/ This is the first in my Make a Webtoon from Start to Finish series. I plan to cover writing, thumbnails, penciling, inking, flatting, coloring, lettering, and uploading. This tutorial is specifically for writing a Webtoon, but will work for writing traditional comics and potentially movie/TV scripts, though they are a little different.
