Making A Machinist Tool Chest From Rubbish And Lasers
Something a little different that I've wanted to do for a while I'll find my white elephant of a vintage chest eventually, but in the meantime this DIY model filled a big hole in my tool storage system. Thank you to Xtoool for sponsoring this video. I don't like disruptive and irrelevant ad reads, and neither do my viewers. I see tool sponsors as a good middle ground since I only accept tools that I think will help me make better content. https://xtool.pxf.io/Qj6qLM Thank You to my patrons! https://www.patreon.com/c/ChrisBorge/membership Parts: On holiday when published, will post parts Monday. I am passionate about digital fabrication but especially 3D printing and trying to push the boundaries of what can be done with basic materials and tools. I firmly believe that 3D printing will be the #1 way people start making physical objects in the future. 3D printing is clean, quiet, cheap and rewarding with quick results. Based on that, one of my major interests is exploring 3D printing as a gateway to other more traditional forms of making. My tool project is designed to explore cheap DIY machine tools that are made more accessible via 3D printing. The goal is to make tools that can be made with minimal skills or tooling, allowing a motivated person to move from a cheap printer to try their hand in other areas.
