Making a Cedar Strip Kayak - microBootlegger Sport Build Overview

The design is my own. I cut forms on a ShopBot CNC machine. The cedar strips are assembled on the forms with hot-melt glue and without staples. I used a Robe-Bevel tool to shape the strips for tight seams. The assembled strips are scraped, planed and sanded to a fair surface before applying stain, fiberglass and epoxy.
