Mains tapping went wrong EP04

This week we had a mains tapping go wrong and more supply pipe renewals. Monday - We deal with a mains water break in a front driveway. Our customers water pipe was leaking and causing high bills. We completed some water leak detection previously before the customer opted for a complete supply pipe replacement. We used an impact mole to replace the pipework to the rear of the property and completed a full reinstatement of a concrete driveway. Tuesday - We completed a new water supply pipe mains connection. It did not go well! Wednesday - We completed the new mains tapping fully with a new Cascade drill rig. Have a look at this piece of kit, makes the mains tappings a lot easier and safer, which is always a plus. We then take you to a complex supply pipe replacement in St Albans. This time we had deep existing supplies to connect to and some drainage to get round. We complete a high-level drill through and connect in to the kitchen. Thursday - We complete the final reinstatement of the blocks at St Albans and a final site tidy up.
