In this video we check out the Veritas and Lie Nielsen No 97 Cabinet Makers Trimming Plane - Side by Side, Comparison, Review. This is a luxury tool that you don’t NEED but its handy to have! A viewer caught me sleeping! I didn't check the bed angles. I know, I know, I fail but.... here they are, and they are DIFFERENT! LN = 12* bed angle and the iron comes with a 25* primary yielding a 37* cutting angle. Veritas = 15* bed angle and the iron comes with a 20* primary yielding 35* cutting angle. Of course, the iron can be honed to adjust the cutting angle, but this was a good think to note that I missed/didn't even think to check!
