Masks also use black and white tones to conceal or reveal areas of an image. A Luminosity Mask is a mask built using the luminance values of the pixels in your photo. ON1 examines the brightness of each pixel and translates that to a mask. Luminosity masks are very powerful and ON1 makes it easy to work with them. By the end of this video, you’ll understand how a luminosity mask works and more importantly understand how to work with them in your photography.
