Lost Odyssey is one of the Xbox 360's most beloved JRPGs... but in the grand scheme of things, that hasn't amounted to much. Trapped on a console that isn't known for it's selection of Japanese titles, its relevance in the world of RPGs has never exceeded the small number of devoted fans who sing it's praises. How did the concept for Lost Odyssey come about? How does it compare to contemporaries? Most importantly, does it *truly* stack up, or is the love for Lost Odyssey the product of rose-colored glasses? Please enjoy this review & retrospective where I attempt to answer these questions and many more.
